Anti Aging Skin Care

One of the most interesting topics on skincare is anti aging skin care. As one gets older, the natural defense of our skin (and in fact of the whole body) weakens. Anti aging skin care is about protecting your skin from the negative effects of the aging process. Using an anti aging skin care regime will help in maintaining a young and fresh look for a longer period of time. However, anti aging skin care doesn’t end just here.

Anti aging skin care actually starts much before the symptoms of aging appear. Serious anti aging skin care is building and following a proper skin care routine much earlier in life (say in your teens). Anti aging skin care doesn’t mean adoption of any special skin care procedure but just following a normal procedure in the right methods. Eating a lot of fresh fruits and veggies, avoiding stress or learning to cope with stress, drinking a lot of water, staying active and using natural therapies can delay the aging process.

With age the skin undergoes significant change. You will need to analyze your current skin care procedure and skin care products to check if they are still suitable for your skin. Look at your current diet and make sure you are getting all your essential nutrients along with enough sleep. A few small changes in your lifestyle and a few skin care product changes can really go a long way in your anti aging skin care regime.

Remember that aging is a natural process and there is nothing that can stop it from happening. All these anti aging skin care measures can just help in aging gracefully and beautifully. BTrue Naturals. Beauty. Naturally.

Benefits to Natural Hair Care Products

There can be many benefits to using Natural Hair Care Products.

Natural Hair Care Products were one of the last products I finally switched over from synthetic and very expensive hair care products! I finally started trying different natural hair care products. I found natural products that work for my hair and I have been really enjoying the affects it has on my hair.

One unexpected side effect I really notice was the complexion of my skin on my neck, back and shoulders. I used to always break out a lot in these areas. I always figured it was because I work outed a lot and was in the sun from swimming.

I was able to narrow down the cause of these breakouts to the hair care products because one day I ran out of my natural hair care products, I looked under my sink to see what I had, I had a bottle of Tresemme conditioner. I thought I would use this up before I went back to a natural conditioner. I found within two days my breakouts were back!

I did a little research and found that this is a common problem with shampoos and especially conditioners. Shampoos and conditioners contain many synthetic chemicals such as silcone that will coat your hair and skin blocking its natural functions. There are fillers, fragrances and extra added colors along with other commonly used chemicals that can irritate your skin. Be aware of what you are using on your hair, remember you rinse your hair and those suds go right down your neck, back and shoulders.

One of my favorite natural shampoos is by John Masters Organics. It has a decent lather and smells amazing, leaving my hair soft and silky!

Have you ever thought about what your skin does for you and how important it is to your health?

Having a daily regime and taking care of your skin can improve your health dramatically. The sole function of the skin is to protect you from the outside world. It is a two way membrane that eliminates a number of harmful substances resulting from the metabolic activities of the intestines and liver.

The skin is a vary intricate micro anatomical structure, the skin is about as thick as a few sheets of paper. Within one square inch there are 650 sweat glands, 65 hair follicles, 19 yards of capillaries, 78 yards of nerves, and thousands of sensory cells, nerve endings and Langerhans cells for immunological protection. Also containing melanocyte cells and the tyrosinase enzyme responsible for producing the melanin, giving your skin its color.

Clearly the skin is a major factor in our health. It is very complex and we are still learning more and more about it everyday. By having a daily skin care regime we can help our skin in its natural processes of turning over skin cells and ridding itself of dead skin cells.

It is vital that the skin care products you use for your daily skin care regime are made up of natural and organic ingredients. Some scientists estimate that as much as 60% of what you apply to your skin reaches the bloodstream. As you can see the skin is very important to our overall health and by using all natural skin care products you can reduce your chemical exposure improving your overall health.
